YOGA RETREAT
YELAPA, MEXICO
Yelapa, Mexico is a small fishing village on a sparkly blue cove, on the Bay of Banderas, and not far from Puerto Vallarta. It is a lush, remote jungle paradise--Mexico’s best-kept secret for the discerning and adventurous who will appreciate its abundance of riches and exotic tropical landscape.
Yelapa is sophisticated and simple, rustic and plush, sandy beaches and wild jungle. There are no cars or roads, just donkeys and horses, steps and narrow paths, sea and river. It is something for everyone. Life is simple and relaxing.
We will walk everywhere---on the beach, in the jungle, up the hilly terrain, and along the river, breathing in the warm, flower-scented air that surrounds us like a gentle cloud.
There is much to dazzle and excite the imagination. When we aren’t practicing
yoga and meditation, we can swim on the nearby beach, go parasailing or bird watching, walk through the jungle to the waterfalls, watch whales from the point, and dolphins in the cove, explore other beaches, and much more.
Later we can sit on the white, sandy beach watching the sun go down, while sipping margaritas. Then we’ll have a delicious Mexican meal somewhere special.
We have 7 full days in Yelapa, 5 of which will be in the Yoga Retreat. One day we will take a boat across Bahia Banderas to the Marietta Islands for swimming, snorkeling, and eating freshly caught fish for cerviche.

EVOLVE WITH THE TIDES
Best of all, the teacher will guide transformative yoga sessions. Daily we will dance the postures, meditate, breath, sound, journal, and in the evening we will sit around the fire and talk about our experience of a changing world. All classes are challenge by choice and for all levels.
The dates for this unusual and evocative retreat are up to you.
In order to have the accommodations we want, it is necessary to book at least 6 months in advance. After that, we cannot guarantee a room.

We will be staying at Los Suenos, in 2 or 3 of the 6 casas which make up Los Suenos, and surround and envelop this sitting room, a kitchen and courtyard. Each casa is open-air, allowing us to be part of the landscape.
